Women entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan with a positive credit history will be eligible for unsecured bank loans of up to 100 million soums ($7,700). This measure is part of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s decree «On Measures to Further Improve the System of Family and Women’s Support,» issued on March 14, according to the Ministry of Justice’s Telegram channel.

The Hamroh program, launching on May 1, will also provide grants of up to 50 million soums ($3,800) to 1,000 women entrepreneurs acting as mentors. To qualify, recipients must support the establishment of at least five businesses, particularly in the green economy and information technology sectors.

From May 1, 2025, the «Partner-Entrepreneur» program will offer practical support to women starting their own businesses, including assistance with organizational matters and product sales on local and international marketplaces.

Additionally, responsible ministries and agencies have been instructed to launch the «Women Entrepreneurs» online platform by July 1, aimed at facilitating:

✅ Raw material procurement
✅ Business partnerships
✅ Market expansion
✅ Specialist recruitment
✅ Resolution of business challenges

The decree also calls for the creation of a Council of Women Entrepreneurs, bringing together leading businesswomen from across the country.

For 2025, the government has set the following targets for women’s support:

👉 Employment for 2 million women
👉 Vocational and entrepreneurship training for 250,000 women
👉 Higher education access for 250,000 girls
👉 Medical treatment in sanatoriums for 50,000 women in need.
